Where can I park ?
At the football ground (100 meters from the junction), and take the opportunity to walk for 6 to 8 minutes to get into the Seine atmosphere.

Answers to questions relating to boat hire and use
The lifejacket is an essential part of safety in the event of a fall into the water. The decree of 10 February 2016 makes it compulsory to wear a lifejacket when salling. There is one lifejacket for each person in the boat.
Children of all ages can come aboard. However, it is important to fit them with a lifejacket adapted to their morphology and to make sure that they wear it at all times.
Yes, whatever the age and size.
Yes, the number of passengers can vary between 1 and 5 (maximum weight 375 kgs). However, the crew chief must be over 18 years old.
Yes, you can eat and drink. However, we rely on your diligence to bring back the boat clean for the next renters. We would like to point out that the consumption of alcohol is prohibited for the crew chief and any person operating the boat.
On the Seine, you have to stay more than 500 m from a lock, and it is forbidden to pass through them because of the small size and light weight of our boats. On the Loing, we are studying this possibility with Voies Navigables de France, but for the moment the project is still under consideration.
As the boats are small, and for satety reasons, it is forbidden to fish from the boat. A fishing permit is also required.
Small and medium-sized dogs are accepted on board. Cats must be in a carrier bag.
Bookings cannot be cancelled or postponed in the event of cloudy skies, cool weather or other conditions, our boats are equipped with a protective canopy. We strongly recommend that you bring appropriate clothing to the weather. However, Ambiance Seine reserves the right to cancel or refuse a charter if weather conditions are considered dangerous for sailors.
It is strongly recommended to book in advance on the internet as we have few boats and demand is high. We want to keep the site as tourist-friendly as possible. If you are on site and a boat is available, the necessary arrangements can be made on the spot. Telephone reservations are not possible.
You are encouraged to book on the website to guarantee the day and time slot you require, especially during busy periodes (week-end, july and august). On the day of booking, the crew chief can take possession of the boat after completing the formalities : presentation of a valide form of identification, payment of the deposit by credit card (imprint only, no debit will be made)., inventory, and familiarisation with the sailing instructions.
There is no place to moor the boat on our various routes, nor is it possible to pick up passengers en route.
At the Paris 2024 Games, the athletes inaugurated swimming in the river with the organisation of Olympic events. Ambiance Seine can’t be held responsible for any accident, illness, etc. resulting from swimming. There are bathing area in Seine-et-Marne. You can find them on the web.
The awning can be installed before you set off or the installation can be explained to you so that you can put it on during your walk. The awning can be used as a protection in case of rain.
If you have a person with reduced mobility in your group, you can come directly to #36 chemin des Roches Courteaux (in Thomery), making sure you park in a herringbone opposite the gate.

To enjoy the banks of the Seine, all you have to do is go down and walk.
Many activities and visits to plan all around : cycle paths along the Seine and the Loing, a large choice of walks and hikes in the Fontainebleau forest, classified as a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve, horse riding, fishing, kayaking, visits to castles (Fontainebleau, By, Blandy les Tours, Nemours et Vaux le Vicomte), medieval town of Moret-sur-Loing, painter’s villages (Barbizon, Bourron-Marlotte) and several other character villages to discover ( St-Mammès, Samois-sur-Seine, Bois le Roi, Montigny-sur-Loing…).

Access
- Access from Paris can be done by train (TER R) : Paris Gare de Lyon - Thomery / 45 minutes with 4 stops
- By car : around 70 kms.
- If you come by car, you will have parking adjacent to the house.
- GPS : To find us easily, you can enter the following address in your GPS : 44 rue de Bellevue in Thomery. Arrive at this place, you go down towards the Seine and turn right on the chemin des Roches Courteaux until #36.
